Heartbreaking video of rescued baby given water after he was trapped under rubble in Mosul

A video of Iraqi soldiers discovering and rescuing a child trapped in the rubble of Mosuls Old City has emerged. The footage was first shared on Facebook by user Abu Ali Zubaidi, who said the toddler was the son of a Chinese militant who had joined the Isis terror group in Iraq. Animals rescued from war-torn amusement park in Aleppo reach temporary home

Four Paws, the international animal welfare organization, successfully completed the first part of its rescue operation near Aleppo, Syria only months after completing a mission in Mosul, Iraq. Nine animals have been evacuated from an abandoned amusement park, but more remain trapped. In the wake of the fighting and turmoil, the team is planning to rescue the remaining animals in the second half of the risky mission. The journey across Turkey was a tiring affair for all of us. Due to the extreme heat, we had to stop every three to four hours to check on the conditions of the animals and provide them with water, stated Four Paws Veterinarian and Head of Mission Dr. Amir Khalil. We are thrilled that we were able to bring the animals safely to their first destination. The challenging rescue mission is financially supported by a donation from American journalist Eric Margolis. CCTV footage shows fraudsters fleeing exploding house following arson attack

Two people have been found guilty of deliberately destroying a house in Lancashire as part of an elaborate insurance scam. Samuel Todd, 27, and Ryan Ibbitson, 23, both of Accrington, were convicted of pouring several gallons of petrol onto the house on Cumberland Avenue in Clayton-le-Moors in April 2014 before setting it alight in order to claim insurance money. Shocking video shows bull dying after having horns set on fire

A bull died a horrible death at a Spanish festival on Saturday (July 22) as it was tied to a post and had its horns set on fire in front of a baying crowd. The terrified half-tonne animal became confused and ran head-first into the wooden post it was tied to – dying instantly in the collision.
