Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone company, which launched Redmi Note 5A recently, has now unveiled another version of the smartphone with a higher RAM and storage. The company has launched a new variant of Redmi Note 5A with Snapdragon 435 SoC, a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, reported GizmoChina citing mydrivers.com as the source. The new variant carries a price tag of is priced at CNY 1,199 (S$245.99). The phone is currently available for purchase in China.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5A in August this year in China. The phone belongs to the company's Note series and is the first smartphone to be launched in the Note 5 line-up of Xiaomi.
Initially, the smartphone was launched in two variants - one with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Chipset. The second variant comes with Snapdragon 435 Chipset along with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The 3GB RAM variant and the latest 4GB RAM one, both also feature the fingerprint scanner.

The launch price of The Redmi Note 5A was 699 Yuan (approximately $4 143.41).
All the three models of the phone support dual SIM, have expandable storage and are available in three colours - Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, and Platinum Silver.
Other features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A includes a 5.5-inch HD display, a metal unibody design, a 13 MP rear camera and a 16 MP front-facing camera sensor. The phone is also equipped with infrared, gyro, acceleration, distance, ambient light, and compass in terms of sensors.
