Audio-equipment developer Bose is very close to launching the second-generation model of its popular QuietComfort 35 (QC35) noise-canceling headphones. Previously in August, The Verge revealed, in a report, that the company had accidentally included an image of the unreleased headphones in a marketing newsletter. Now, 9to5Google has found out the difference between the upcoming models and the original headphone model and it's Google Assistant.
The new QC35II headphones will now have an "Action button" on it, which will be used by the users to activate Google Assistant, reported 9to5Google. The Google Assistant in the headphone will be able to perform a bunch of tasks, such as answering general questions, sending or reading back users' texts, controlling music, and more, with users' smartphones tucked away in their pocket.

Reportedly, Bose is including the branding that says "Google Assistant built in" right on the box, and a product sheet seen by 9to5Google confirms that users can just press and hold the button to speak to the Assistant. However, "Built in" might be a little bit of exaggeration, considering users will still need their smartphones for the Assistant to work.
However, it seems like not much of the QC35's core features will be changed in the new generation of the model since Bose has chosen to simply name these "QuietComfort 35 II" instead of using a different model name.
