All the speculations can now rest in peace, as Google has finally confirmed the launch date of Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 and that is October 4. The tech giant tweeted a video, which suggests that all the issues the consumers have with their smartphones, such as low battery life, inadequate camera, and bad AI integration, will be solved with the inception of new Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2.

Previously reports had claimed that these smartphones from Google's stable would be unveiled on 5th. Google's upcoming flagship devices, Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2, will be competing against the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+, Galaxy Note8, iPhone 8/8Plus and iPhone X for the supremacy in today's smartphone market.

Other points mentioned in the teaser are "why doesn't my phone understand me?" and "why is my phone so dumb?" This hints that the new Pixel phones may have an improved Google Assistant functionalities and a wider language support.

Last year's Pixel and Pixel XL were praised for their cameras and this teaser suggests that Google has improved on the camera further. Previously reports and leaks had suggested that the two new Pixel phones will have a similar "glass window" at the back, similar to that of last year's Pixel device.
