The director of the highly anticipated film, Baahubali: The Conclusion, SS Rajamouli has finally revealed that 'the million dollar question of why Kattappa killed Baahubali' is the theme of the movie.
The first film in the franchise titled Baahubali: The Beginning had ended abruptly, leaving millions of audience wondering "Why Kattapa Killed Baahubali?". The question left a humongous impact on the viewers and everyone is eagerly waiting for the film's sequel's to release on April 28.
When asked about the theme, SS Rajamouli said: "Why Kattappa killed Baahubali? We thought of it as a theme for the part 2. We thought we will use that throughout in our promotions because that was the most asked question. We also have that scene in the film where we were shooting some stills and our designer Mr. Jaggan, he suddenly sent me this image one day."
"It was not scheduled and we were not releasing anything on that day but I couldn't help but just release it and I came up with the line 'The boy he raised, the man he killed'" the director added.
At present, SS Rajamouli is busy promoting the movie. Reports said the film will be released in as many as 6,500 screens, the highest ever for an Indian movie, across the globe.
Baahubali 2-The Conclusion, an epic fantasy, is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works. Apart from Anushka Shetty and Prabhas, the film stars Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and Sathyaraj will play important characters in the film. The film is among the top three all-time highest-grossing Indian movies.
The Baahubali franchise has a huge fan following owing to its larger-than-life content and hence fans are eagerly looking forward to watch Prabhas and the entire cast go a notch higher than its predecessor in giving the audience a splendid cinematic experience.
