Wanna One topped the brand reputation rankings for boy bands for the second straight month in December followed by BTS and EXO.
The Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation analyzed 90.31 million pieces of big data from November 8 to December 9 of boy bands and measured the media, participation, community and communication indices, an increase of 14.01 percent from 79.21 million in November.
Wanna One received a score of 15.61 million to place first, rising by 43.92 percent compared to their November score of 10.85 million. The boy band released their new album '1-1=0 (Nothing Without You)' on November 13.
Wanna One was closely associated with 'cute' and 'precious' in link analysis while Kang Danile, Park Ji Hoon and One Seung Woo ranked high in the keyword analysis.
Placing second is BTS with a score of 14.12 million, increasing by 62.54 percent from November. The boy band was active in the US during the analysis period, performing at the American Music Awards (AMAs) and appearing on US TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!,The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late, Late Show with James Corden.
EXO maintained their third place position with a score of 8.05 million, an increase of 48.49 percent from 5.42 million in November.
Getting fourth place is GOT7 with 6.33 million, rising 294.69 percent compared to their 13th place score in November of 1.6 million.
Seventeen placed fifth with 4.55 million, up by 27.2 percent from their November total of 3.58 million.
