Often it becomes difficult for fans to find out the official social media accounts of celebrities, especially when there are numerous fake accounts posing as authentic ones. This has happened in the case of 'Running Man' member Song Ji-hyo as well.
As noted by website Soompi, Song Ji-hyo's agency MY Company warned fans on September 28 against fake social media accounts of the 'Running Man' team member. There are reportedly several fake accounts on Instagram that pose as Song Ji-hyo's official account.

"We are speaking in regards to fake Instagram accounts of our actor. The only official Song Ji Hyo account is @my_songjihyo. Recently, we discovered several imposter accounts overstepped moral boundaries through insider monitoring. We are making this announcement in order to warn fans and prevent any damage, as well as explain how to differentiate [what is real and what is not]," the statement from MY Company read.
As of now, Song Ji-hyo's official Instagram account has not been verified yet. Her agency revealed they are yet to hear from Instagram regarding the verification. This has led to confusion among fans as to which is her official Instagram. As per reports, there have been some fake accounts posing as Song Ji-hyo, where cosmetic products that the actress does not endorse or model for, were advertised. Links to an insurance site were even posted by these accounts.
Song Ji-hyo is very famous in South Korea and in Asia, thanks to her being a member of 'Running Man,' having acted in numerous television dramas and films and having modelled for various high profile brands, magazine pictorials and the like. Her fans especially adore her beautiful smile.
Song Ji-hyo recently posed for a photo shoot with 1st Look magazine where she also talked about her career plans. Even though she is well-known for her beauty, she said she devotes more attention to her roles because it is the performance that matters most, not looks.
Song Ji-hyo will be seen in tvN's drama special 'Chief B and the Love Letter' (literal translation). She will play the role of a 30-year-old manager named Bang Ga-young. The character is described as a workaholic and having never dated anyone: a fact she hides from others. Song Ji-hyo has also finished filming her upcoming romantic comedy movie, 'Wind Wind Wind,' which is expected to release sometime this year.
