Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa wins Miss Universe 2017. The 66th edition of Miss Universe commenced in The Axis, Las Vegas with hosts Ashley Graham and Steve Harvey. With the announcement of the top 5, enthusiasm of the audience reached its heights. Contestants from 93 countries participated in this year's event, making it the biggest beauty pageant ever.

American television personality Ross Mathews, Lele Pons, Jay Manuel, Megan Olivi and former Miss Universes Pia Wurtzbach, Wendy Fitzwilliam judged the contestants.The palpitation soared high before the announcement of the 66th Miss Universe. Giving a tough fight to Colombia and Jamaica, South Africa takes home the crown.
