It has been months since we heard anything substantial about ex-Running Man member Gary Kang. Now, he has suddenly announced marriage on April 5 through Instagram, without having informed any of his 'Running Man' mates. He also chose not to release any pictures of his marriage, making fans, friends and acquaintances worry about him. However, out of the blue, Gary has released a single titled 'Concern,' about his wife.
As noted by website Allkpop, rapper Gary Kang surprised his fans and media on October 11, when he released a new single titled 'Concern.' There were no hints by the former 'Running man' member that he was going to release a new song. His last music release was in May of 2016, a Chinese rap song titled 'It's Okay.' Naturally, many are curious as to the content of Gary's surprise single.

The song reportedly is a message to listeners, to keep their "concerns" in check and just relax in life. The song also contains romantic lyrics that are about his new wife. The lyrics talk about expressing affection towards one's spouse and finding peace in her company. It seems as if 'Concern' was aimed at Gary's fans, acquaintances and 'Running Man' members like Song Ji-hyo, who were worried about the rapper as a result of his extreme secrecy surrounding his marriage.
Before his marriage, he used to update his Instagram and keep in touch with his 'Running Man' mates. After Gary left Running Man, he became more withdrawn, suddenly announcing his marriage to the shock of others and deleting all Instagram posts. There are rumours floating that he has also disbanded from Leessang.
Another rumour making the rounds was that Gary was unhappy in marriage with his new wife. Fans began speculating whether his wife was a bad influence on him; forcing him to sever contact with those who genuinely care about him. In late April, during a Malaysia fan meet of Running Man, Song Ji-hyo revealed Gary had changed his phone number, leaving her unable to contact him.
