The yalu102 jailbreak for iOS 10 – 10.2 has been available for quite some time while users have been blocked access to new apps and tweaks via Cydia in order to prevent incompatible packages from being installed. Saurik aka Jay Freeman (founder of Cydia) has taken these preventive measures as it could lead to critical software issues.
With the release of final and stable version of Cydia (v1.1.28), Saurik has re-enabled the purchasing of tweaks. Consequently, third-party app developers can now enable purchase access to all those tweaks updated to support iOS 10 and the rest will remain disabled until they receive the compatibility fix for the latest iOS firmware.
The latest build of Cydia can now be downloaded through the Cydia/ Telesphoreo repo via Changes tab in Cydia after refreshing it. Some of the noteworthy changes ported into Cydia 1.1.28 include a major update to APT (package management backend), support for iOS 10 and the conversion of Cydia to a 64-bit process.
With the installation of Cydia 1.1.28, you will no longer encounter 32-bit warning message; besides getting a known bug fix for unclickable links within the Cydia tool.
