iOS 10.2 jailbreak - 64-bit Cydia installation
How to install iOS 10-optimised 64-bit Cydia after jailbreaking iOS 10.2

iOS 10.2 jailbreakers can now enhance their jailbreak experience by upgrading to the iOS 10-optimised 64-bit version of Cydia (v1.1.28) from the 32-bit version of Cydia (v1.1.27), which is integrated into the yalu102 jailbreak. As the new yalu jailbreak is meant for 64-bit iOS devices, it makes perfect sense to install the 64-bit version of Cydia, which is better optimised to handle the latest iOS 10.2 jailbreak.

In a nut shell, the 64-bit version of Cydia offers better compatibility with devices jailbroken on iOS 10 with yalu102 as suggested by the Founder of Cydia, Jay Freeman aka Saurik. Interested iOS 10.2 users with a jailbroken iPhone or iPad may go ahead and try out the newest version of Cydia (still in its beta state), using a simple guide provided below:

Step 1: Add the following URL to the list of Cydia sources: http://apt.saurik.com/beta/cydia-arm64/.

Step 2: After adding the source, allow Cydia to refresh and then the available updates will be displayed. You should notice three new available updates for the latest version of Cydia (v1.1.28), including Cydia Installer, Tape Archive, and Debian Packager.

Step 3: Select each package and hit the Install button to get the available upgrades with the latest 64-bit version of Cydia on your jailbroken device.

That's it. You are now running the latest 64-bit version of Cydia on your jailbroken iOS 10/10.1.1/10.2 device.
