Tickets for the Coldplay concert in Singapore were sold out in less than two hours after they went on sale on Monday, with eager music fans making it a point not to miss the concert that returns 8 years after the last performance in 2009.
The organiser, Live Nation Lushington, had said that up to 14,000 tickets, costing between $78 and $298, would go on sale on 21 November.
This is the third batch of the tickets that was released after the tickets of the second batch sold out on 20 November. The first two batches of tickets were released exclusively for Citibank customers and Live Nation Lushington's mailing list subscribers on 17 November and 20 November respectively. The organisers said that around 40, 000 tickets have been sold so far and promised to try to release another 10,000 tickets after the concert's layout is finalised.
