Samsung's latest device bearing the model number SM-J250F/DS that might just be Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) was accidentally confirmed by the company's South African division on November 16. The local unit launched a support page for the yet to be launched Android device. Samsung, however, hasn't confirmed anything on the technical specifications yet but the fact that SM-J250F will possess dual sim variant for specific territories has been confirmed.
Geekbench's database also released the international version of the device along with the technical specifications. Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) will be powered by Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 430 SoC. The model is said to come with 1.5GB to 2GB RAM with 32 GB internal space and a microSD card slot.
It is all geared up to feature Android 7.1.1 Nougat enhanced with Samsung Experience software suite. Since Samsung's software support for the Galaxy series has been a bit tipsy when upgrading to Android 8.0 Oreo is concerned, there is no confirmation on the fact that Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) might sustain the Oreo upgrade.
The device is powered by octa-core SoC and can operate at a maximum frequency of 1.4 GHz which is the standard frequency for Qualcomm.
The accidental confirmation of Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) came right after another wing of Samsung released news about Galaxy A7 (2018). The Kazakhstani division of the company accidentally launched a support page for the device tagging it as SM-A730F/DS. It will have dual sim capability but all the versions might not support the same features. It might contain the Infinity Display panel present in the Galaxy S8 lineup and Galaxy Note 8 along with being IP68-certified with complete water and dust resistance. The device is all set to feature a 6-inch screen with Exynos 7885 SoC and 6 GB RAM. Galaxy J2 Pro will be launched by early 2018.
