Once again Julia Roberts has been named as the World's Most Beautiful Woman by PEOPLE magazine. This is for a record fifth time that actress has secured the top position in this category. She was first featured on the cover of the magazine in the 1990s and after more than a decade, she is still everyone's pretty woman.
Julia's first massive break was Pretty Woman in the 90s and then there is no looking back. She is still the same shining star who gets better and better over time. Interestingly, this time, Julia has tipped off George Clooney, who was adjudged as the World's Most Sexiest Man Alive twice.
The 49-year old actress from Georgia also shared secrets on staying young in an exclusive interview with the magazine's latest edition. In an excerpt from the interview, Julia says, "People say, 'Oh, when Pretty Woman came out it must have really changed your life,' and it has kind of become a joke, but the truth is I was out of town when Pretty Woman came out. I was in another movie in this tiny little town that was showing Star Wars in its first run. I remember reading ... 'Pretty Woman came out this weekend and made this much money' and I thought, 'Is that a lot of money? Is that good? Is that great?' I didn't really know."
Julia is happily married to cinematographer Danny Moder for 14 years and she is blessed with twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 12, and Henry, 9. The actress has revealed that she has found her own fairy ending in her life. "I mean every day my husband walks in the door it's like a recurring dream. I'm like, 'Ah, he's back!'," she was quoted saying.
An opinion on Sydney Morning Herald stated, "People's recognition of Roberts continues its recent trend in embracing more established Hollywood beauties, with Sandra Bullock receiving the honor in 2015 at the age of 50 and 47-year-old Jennifer Aniston taking the title for the second time last year."
