Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid's relationship reportedly did not start on the right note. It was previously reported that the former One Direction singer broke-up with the model after her birthday.
A source told Hollywood Life: "The timing for Gigi & Zayn's love made it doomed from the start. Zayn had time for Gigi when they first got together after finishing his latest album, but now that things are busier, he doesn't want to feel tied down in a relationship."
"He felt like he wasn't giving Gigi the time she deserved. Zayn made it clear to Gigi from the beginning that he had just gotten out of one relationship and didn't want to get back into something too serious," the insider added.
Rumours that Perrie Edwards' former boyfriend and Hadid are romantically involved started after the two were spotted in the same car following the American Music Awards after-party at Los Angeles' The Nice Guy club on 24 November 2015.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Victoria's Secret model and Malik had posed together during Vogue photoshoot. She gushed about working with Malik to E! News at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards: "I wish I could be on set with him every day. It doesn't feel like work when he's there."
"It was really fun. We had the best time. It was an adventure to go where we shot it. He is a very good model. He's so naturally good looking," Hadid added.
