Yoo An In's agency UAA has issued a clarification note on the actor's military exemption and also added that they would take legal action against malicious rumour creators. Last week, Ah In was exempted from military service after three years of examinations due to his health conditions. Following this, there were rumours such as 'bone tumour', 'fracture', and 'muscle rupture' in the social site.
Now the actor's agency has warned rumour mongers with strict legal actions for circulation false information. "On June 12, Yoo An In was informed of the final military service exemption decision by the Military Manpower Administration. It is clear that the judgment has been made through proper procedures such as thorough inspection and verification by the state agency without any irregularities."
The statement added that there are many news circulating in the media regarding the actor's health conditions that in-turn has caused a lot of constraints and controversies. "The physical and mental suffering of any health problem is thoroughly personal issues," it added.
The agency also stated that the actor is highly disappointed to have worried his fans for three years. "I have disappointed and made my fans to undergo the pressure for years," it said and further sent a caution message for those who circulate fake news. "We will respond strictly to all malicious acts such as the dissemination of false facts and infringement of personal information. Legal action will be taken against those who try to slander the actor's career and image, as well as insult his personality and authenticity."
