Korean girl group TWICE have sold more than 1 million copies of their albums since debuting in the entertainment industry in 2015.

JYP Entertainment, the girls' agency, announced that TWICE sold a total of 1.24 million copies of their five albums in one year and seven months, earning the title "million seller."

TWICE's debut mini-album, "The Story Begins" released in October 2015 had 120,000 in sales while "Page Two," the second mini-album that was released in April last year, sold 210,000.

"Twicecoaster: Lane 1," the group's third mini-album released last October, garnered 380,000 in sales and the special album "Twicecoaster: Lane 2" sold 280,000 copies.

TWICE's latest album, "Signal," that was released last May 15 has already sold 250,000 so far based on shipment quantity and the Gaon chart.

This is a rare feat as girl groups usually sell less than boy groups in the Korean music industry.

TWICE have the highest score among Korean girl groups in music sales charts and usually top online music charts for each song that they release.

In addition, TWICE have also conquered YouTube as all of their four consecutive music videos have surpassed 100 million views each.

Early this month, TWICE's "TT" became the most viewed K-pop girl group music video on YouTube with 189.78 million views since it was released on October 24, 2016. It surpassed Girls' Generation's "I Got a Boy," which had 189.39 million views at the time.

"TT" now has 198.9 million as of press time and is set to reach the 200 million-view mark soon. It earlier reached 100 million views in record time.

TWICE's other videos also surpassed 100 million views. "Knock Knock" has accumulated a total of 102 million views since it was uploaded on YouTube last February 19. "Ooh-Ahh" has 155.9 million views since October 2015 while "Cheer Up" has 171.8 million views since April last year.

The music video for "Signal," TWICE's latest song, has 28.52 million views since May 15. The track is also on top of Korean music charts Melon and Naver Music.
