The female singer-trainee who was convicted for using marijuana along with Big Bang member T.O.P has denied that she offered the illegal drug to the singer first.

Han Seo Hee spoke to Korean entertainment site K Star about the case.

"I have admitted the crime I committed and I am deeply reflecting," she said, according to Soompi.

She added, "The person who first suggested it was the other person. I never forcibly suggested it even once, the electronic cigarette was also not mine."

Han Seo Hee said T.O.P pulled out the electronic cigarette from his pocket.

"Since I have less to lose and that person has a lot to lose, I think that's why they pushed it onto me. There are a lot of things that are unfair but even if explain every little thing people who don't want to believe me won't believe me, so I think it's better to just hold it in and move on," she added.

T.O.P's camp answered by saying, "T.O.P did not appeal his sentence and is self-reflecting while waiting for the army to make a decision. We don't know much about Han Seo Hee's case and what she is saying."

Last June, the Seoul Central District Court sentenced her to three years in prison, four years of probation, 120 hours of drug treatment and a fine of 870,000 won (US$770) for using marijuana. She has appealed the verdict and her trial is scheduled on September 20.

She and T.O.P were charged with smoking marijuana at the latter's home in Seoul for several days in October last year.

T.O.P also got a suspended sentence when the same court found him guilty of smoking marijuana four times. He was sentenced to 10 months in jail suspended for two years and a fine of 12,000 won (US$10).

The judge in the case said, "The defendant has admitted his guilt and the court acknowledges all charges as guilty. The defendant, as someone who's been loved by many fans here and abroad, has disappointed his family and fans. Yet the court has allowed for the fact that he has pleaded guilty, regrets having committed the wrongdoing and shows willingness not to commit such a misdeed again," Yonhap News reported.

T.O.P apologized after the verdict was handed down, saying, "I'm truly sorry that I disappointed my fans and the public. I will do my best to make a fresh start and not to make such a mistake again with what I've learned from this lesson."
