Disney Channel recently induced nostalgia as "That's so Raven's" spin-off show, Raven's Home released its first trailer. It has been 10 years since Raven Baxter and company was last seen but it seems that things have not changed much.
In the spin-off trailer it's very evident that Raven, who has the boisterous nature of hers exactly like how she was in the original run, will be the focal point of the show,.
However, some major changes are to be noted- Raven and her best friend, Chelsea are no more teenagers.
According to inquisitr, they are both divorced mothers raising their kids together under the same roof. Chelsea has a son and Raven has twins–a girl and a boy. In fact, in the trailer the story narrator is her son, Booker (Issac from Black-ish).
The trailer also hints that he has got all the clairvoyant abilities like his mother. It is unsure whether he will be a running theme of the show, or whether Raven will also be in the loop.
Raven Symone is very excited about the project as she expressed to ET, "Oh my goodness...I wanted to do it!" she said shortly after the spinoff news was announced.
She added, "I wanted to get out of bed and work and laugh, and Disney Channel has been kind to me for the last — I don't know — how many umpteen years. We all said, 'This would be a great idea.'"
In the trailer, Kyle Massey and Orlando Brown is missing possibly the new show wouldn't have them as focus is on Raven's family, her children not her siblings and most importantly she as a mother.
It is to reportedly premiere on Friday, July 21 on the Disney Channel in the US.
