Taylor Swift is reportedly surprised that a song from Harry Styles' debut album is about her. The lyrics from the track Two Ghosts seemed a lot like the One Direction member is describing about the Bad Blood hitmaker.
The lyrics read: "Same lips, red / Same eyes, blue / Same white shirt, couple more tattoos / But it's not you and it's not me / Tastes so sweet, looks so real / Sounds like something that I used to feel / But I can't touch what I see / We're not who we used to be / We're not who we used to be..."
It is to be noted that Swift's song Style also mentions red lips and white t-shirts. A source told Hollywood Life: "Taylor is surprised that Harry is still talking about their relationship that ended years ago. She's also shocked that Harry still cares when she moved on so long ago."
"She feels like his acknowledgment of her shows how much he still respects her — and the feeling is mutual!" the insider added.
Meanwhile, Styles had recently opened up about his past relationship with Swift. The British boyband member sparked rumours that he is dating the Red singer, after pictures emerged of the two at Central Park in 2012.
During an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the 23-year-old singer talked about the images. He said: "When I see photos from that day, I think: Relationships are hard, at any age. And adding in that you don't really understand exactly how it works when you're 18, trying to navigate all that stuff didn't make it easier. I mean, you're a little bit awkward to begin with. You're on a date with someone you really like. It should be that simple, right? It was a learning experience for sure. But at the heart of it – I just wanted it to be a normal date."
