Twilight actor Taylor Lautner has opened up about his past relationship with American singer/songwriter Taylor Swift. The duo had briefly dated in 2009 and even starred in a film together, Valentine's Day.
In an interview with ET Online, the 24-year-old Scream Queens actor was asked about his love life with the Bad Blood hitmaker. He said: "It was a good time. It was a fun few months there."
Adding on, during a Facebook Live chat at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills on 9 August, Lautner revealed that Swift wrote the track Back to December, from her 2010 album, Speak Now, about their short-lived romance. Lautner was grilled about his relationship by his Scream Queens co-stars John Stamos and Lea Michele.
The Glee actress said: "You dated Taylor Swift, I remember that! Should we talk about it? Didn't she write a song about you?"
Lautner replied: "That's hilarious...that's what she does. She writes songs... It's called Back To December," he said.
Swift has a history of dating high-profile celebrities including Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Zac Efron and Conor Kennedy. During an interview with Glamour UK magazine, the Shake It Off singer admitted that she does not find it easy having a boyfriend. She said: "There is no easy way for me to engage with romance. I'm really busy, so I can't. And it's a good thing that I feel really independent and I feel that my friends are all I need."
"It's kind of a sad way I got there, though, being shamed into it. What else is it when you have two boyfriends in one year and everyone's calling you boy crazy, making jokes about you at awards shows? That's public humiliation. And I don't think its fair," she added.
