The popular K-pop band Super Junior celebrates its 12th anniversary today (November 6). Fans all over the world honoured the day by making the hashtags #READYTOPLAY and #12YearsWithSuperJunior trend worldwide.
The boy band, a member of twelve (later became thirteen) made their debut on November 6, 2005, with a single hit "Twin(knockout)".Super Junior has gone through various transformations throughout the years and has faced numerous ups and downs. However, they remain one of the strongest boy groups.
Eunhyuk uploaded a post on Instagram, saying," "Thank you to my members who walked with me on this road together and my loving ELF who was my biggest strength during this bumpy road. I'm going to take another step now. Thank you and I love you."
Yesung also shared a picture of the Super Junior members on Instagram writing," It's already been 12 full years since we debuted. Thank you so much to everyone who was with me and waited for me. We're going to start all over again on 2017/11/6. Super Junior will come see you guys."
Yesung also posted a photo of K.R.Y (Super Junior's sub-group consisting of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung) and wrote, "I can't fall asleep. Why am I suddenly thinking of the youngest members? [Is it because] I miss them?" Both Kyuhyun and Ryeowook are presently serving in the army.
