South Korean singer/actor Heechul has shown his sensitive side to the world. The 34-year-old member of South Korean boy group Super Junior admitted he cried his eyes out after practising for the band's comeback.
Heechul raised eyebrows when he wore sunglasses during an appearance on tvN's Life Bar. When asked what happened to him, he replied: "My eyes are so swollen because I cried for an hour."
"My ankles are bad because I was in a car accident in the past but I still practiced for Super Junior's comeback."
"My ankle hurt so badly, though. I couldn't get up from my bed when I got home. I was so scared and tears burst out. So I cried my eyes out for an hour. I think the female hormones increase as you get older," he added.
Super Junior debuted in 2005 with 13 members. And now, the band is preparing for their comeback with seven members - Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Siwon, Eunhyuk, and Donghae on November 6.
Currently, Ryewook and Kyuhyun are in the military for their mandatory service. Meanwhile, Kangin and Sungmin have decided not to participate in the comeback.
On September 27, Super Junior's website started a countdown with the words, SJ Returns. Leeteuk also posted the announcement on his Instagram page. The post read: "#D-40 #superjunior #comeback #12thanniversary #SJ, #SJ-label..."
Adding on, SJ Label confirmed that Super Junior will be holding Super Show 7 from December 16-17 at the Jamsil Arena. It is the band's first concert since Super Show 6 in 2015.
