Sulli's label has denied rumors that she will be on issue of Korea's Playboy magazine Instagram/jelly_jilli

South Korean actress/singer Sulli's agency has responded to reports that she will be on the cover of the first issue of Playboy Korea magazine. SM Entertainment revealed there is no truth to the story.

The label told DongA: "We have checked, and it is false."

Reports that the 23-year-old actress will pose for the publication started after Koreaboo stated that she will be doinng a semi-nude photoshoot. An alleged source said: "Sulli will the cover model of Playboy Korea's first magazine. Compared to its western counterparts, Playboy Korea will be less risqué but even so, Sulli is expected to cause a lot of noise with her photoshoot. The photoshoot will be semi-nude and not full-nude like the cover models on the Western issues of Playboy."

The former girl group f(x) member had recently received a lot of praise for her performance in the film, Real. The 23-year-old dared to bare in the R-rated movie that was released on June 28.

"This past June, Sulli starred in the action noir film Real. She portrayed lots of nude scenes provocatively and showcased her acting's prowess. She will be challenging herself once more with a semi-nude photo shoot in Playboy Korea's first issue," the insider added.

Meanwhile, during an interview with Grazia, Sulli revealed she is taking her profession very seriously. She said: "I do think lately that I could be an actress for the rest of my life. I've been thinking that I match very well to 'this place.' I used to believe that I didn't."

"I would look at people who were different from me, and think, 'I won't make it. Those people are the ones who should be celebrities.' But recently, I've been thinking, 'Actually, that's not true. There's a place for me too.' I have a bit more confidence, and I feel more of a sense of achievement and responsibility to my work now," she added.
