There's no dearth of a galaxy's worth of theories, especially when the topic in question is an upcoming 'Star Wars' film, 'The Last Jedi' to be exact. The latest is a claim of a leak straight from the sets of Pinewood Studios, which says that Luke Skywalker will have a very emotional reunion with old pals Chewbacca and R2D2.

Website Metro UK notes that famous Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh claimed on his YouTube channel of having had learned of a plot leak from Pinewood Studios in the UK, that Rian Johnson's film will focus, give weight to the eventual and long-awaited reunion between Luke, Chewbacca and R2D2.

In the video, Mike Zeroh says, "It was reported that Mark Hamill, playing Luke Skywalker of course, walks down these set of [stone] steps and eventually reaches the Millennium Falcon and goes inside," adding "This is where he meets Chewbacca and R2-D2 for the first time in a very, very long time. However long, we don't know."

Mike Zeroh also ponders over whether R2D2 and Chewie climb the steps of the stony peaks to give company to Luke and his latest trainee Rey. However, as per the purported leak, Rey does not accompany Luke when he goes inside the Millennium Falcon.

"Why isn't Rey going down with Luke Skywalker, down the stone steps to the Millennium Falcon?" the theorist wonders. Maybe Rey was still sleeping or maybe she just wants to give Luke to meet his old friends alone.

Another significant equation in this reunion will obviously be Luke's friend and brother-in-law Han Solo, who was killed by his son and Luke's former apprentice, Ben Solo, aka Kylo Ren. The Millennium Falcon and Chewbacca will always be associated with its former space smuggler-owner.

"When he goes in there [the Millennium Falcon], he's going to have a lot of flash backs. He's going to think of Han. You're going to see more emotions through Luke Skywalker, of looking at the atmosphere of, the interior of, the Millennium Falcon," Mike Zeroh said.

Of course this is all mere hearsay and speculation until accepted as fact. All will be revealed when 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' storms into theatres this December.
