Disney finally released the much-awaited trailer for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. It was released during the Star Wars Celebration on April 14, Friday in Orlando. The new poster of the upcoming movie was also released.

As reported by Coming Soon, the poster of the upcoming movie is a mixture of light and darkness and Rey seems to be standing between the two. Though the plot of the upcoming movie is not much known but it is sure to continue the story which started in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Daisy Ridley returns as Rey and the other cast members too to be coming back to reprise their roles. John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Cameron Poe and late Carrie Fisher will also be back as Leia as she filmed her scenes before she passed away at the end of last year.

The trailer begins with Daisy Ridley's character struggling to breathe. Soon, the voice of Mark Hamill's character is heard in the back drop asking to, "Breathe. Just Breathe and now, reach out."

In the next shot, Skywalker is heard asking Rey, "What do you see?" She replies saying, "Light."In the video, the back of Leia is featured and a shot of Ren's destroyed mask features darkness and she replies the same. At last, she says, "A Balance" as it shows the light shining on the old books, surrounded by wood.

The trailer ends with the Jedi master's words stating, "I only know one truth, it's time for the Jedi to end."

Fans will have to wait to see if The Last Jedi will bring the end of Ren's journey or it will mark the beginning of him with the Rebel Resistance fighters.

The Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled to hit the theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
