Song Sun Mi has finally opened up about her late husband. On August 21, the actress's husband was found bleeding in the Seocho district and passed away while he was being transferred to Seoul St. Mary's Hospital.
The 42-year-old actress took to her Instagram account, to share her thoughts. She wrote, along with an image of a sky: "He was someone like the clear blue sky. He always put others before him and that was so charming about him."
"He was funny and warm, and he wasn't good at expressing himself but he had heart, so he made you understand how meaningful all his expressions were.. He supported what I did more than anyone else did.. He gave me strength when I was unsure of myself or when I had hard times.. I miss him and miss him again, but I find strength to go on today for him," she added.
Meanwhile, Sun Mi's agency, JR Entertainment, had earlier released an official statement regarding her condition. The note read: "As reported by the news, Song Sun Mi's husband fell victim to a horrible crime on August 21. Following the announcement, Song Sun Mi is in deep shock and sorrow. All those involved with the incident are currently under police investigation."
"Song Sun Mi and her family are in deep mourning. Please be considerate to the victim and his family, who are suffering a great loss, and please refrain from posting speculative comments and sensational reports as much as possible. We wish our sincerest condolences to the family."
Sun Mi and her late husband met in 2004, and tied the knot on June 29, 2006 in Seoul. The couple have a daughter.
Currently, Sun Mi is working on her drama, MBC's Return of Bok Dan Ji.
