Song Joong Ki's agency has responded to reports about the actor being affected by THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense). Blossom Entertainment clarified rumors surrounding the 30-year-old's upcoming projects in China.
However, Joong Ki has not taken up any Chinese drama and is currently working on his upcoming historic film, Battleship Island. However, we have not discussed his appearance in any project yet. The only project he has confirmed his casting for following 'Descendants of the Sun' is the film 'Battleship Island.'"
Joong Ki shot to fame after starring in the hit drama as Captain Yoo Shi Jin. He was seen along Song Hye Kyo, who reprised the role of doctor named Kang Mo-Yeon.
The representative added, according to Soompi: "This is the first time we have heard of that drama and the casting fee of 100 million yuan. Song Joong Ki is currently focusing on his Korean film 'Battleship Island.'"
