After the massive success of the "Descendants of the Sun" Song Joong-ki has seen new heights of fame altogether. Be it his new movie, endorsements, TV shows or open interactions, fans are going gaga over them all -- so much so that ticket prices for an upcoming China show featuring the star has shot up manifold.
Song Joong-ki is to appear in the Hunan TV show "Happy Camp" next week. The Chinese media has reported that Song's fans are trying to get the tickets even for some 8,000 yuan or about 1.44 million Korean won just for a front-row seat in a show featuring the Korean soap star.
A regular ticket costs just 3,400 yuan. These prices reflect the explosive popularity of the actor and the soap "Descendants of the Sun" in which he stars.
The show was streamed in China simultaneously with the terrestrial airing in Korea.
Song Joong-ki was recently seen in a Thailand fan meet where there was footfall of around 4,000 fans who had attended the three-hour event only to interact with the 30-year-old actor once. The videos of that fan meet have shown Song's popularity among his female admirers. It is evident that Song is slowly becoming the International hearthrob ruling over his female fans.
