Song Joong Ki walked the red carpet of 11th Seoul International Drama Awards held at KBS hall on September 8. The 31-year-old, who was last seen in the hit drama, Descendent of the Sun, bagged the most outstanding actor trophy at the ceremony.
The Korean heart-throb made a grand entry with fans yelling his name at the top of their voices. While Joong Ki was the last actor to walk the red carpet, he took a moment to acknowledge his shippers love. The actor said: "I feel like it's been a long time since I've said hi. I'm filming a movie right now so I haven't been able to come out much, but I'm glad to be here. Thank you." Joong Ki is currently shooting for Battleship Island, which is scheduled for a next year release.
In addition, the Hallyu star also talked about his fellow actor and dear friend, Park Bo Gum. Joong Ki expressed his exuberance over the success of Bo Gum's recently incepted period drama, he said: "I knew 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds' would do well, but I didn't know that it would do this well. I'm sincerely thankful, and want to thank everyone for loving Bo Gum."
When asked if the actor would take his bromance to another level by twin casting, Joong Ki shared that he would love fighting with Bo Gum for another girl: "It would be great to play brothers some time, or even two guys that fight over the same girl. Regardless, I would like to work with [Park Bo Gum] in a project," he said.
