Moonlight Drawn By Clouds is the first historical drama for Park Bo Gum, and the actor was quite burdened to take up the lead. The next generation Hallyu star, who will be playing the protagonist for the first time, previously revealed that he was skeptical on living up to the expectations of the viewers.
In a recent interview with Showbiz Korea, when asked if the actor seeks assistance from his friends or fellow actors, Bo Gum revealed that Cha Tae Hyun and Hallyu star Song Joong Ki helped him to prepare the role. He said: "Cha Tae Hyun made a special appearance in the drama. And Song Joong Ki always encourages me when I'm feeling lost. Lim Joo Hwan, who's been in a lot of historical dramas, taught me in detail the proper ways to dress in traditional garbs."
Furthermore, Bo Gum also talked about his future engagements and the genres he would like to attempt. The 23-year-old stressed on playing a uniform-clad lad: "There is a lot. Before it's too late, I want to do a movie where I get to wear a school uniform. Like 'Our Times' or 'You Are the Apple of My Eye,' I want to work on a project where I can express the warm and refreshing innocence of love that is only possible during your youth in a school uniform," the actor relayed.
Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, starring Park Bo Gum and Kim Yo Jung, airs every Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 pm KST on KBS2.
