Song Joong Ki showed off his new hair style at the 11th Seoul International Drama Awards held on 8 September. The 30-year-old actor reportedly shortened his hair for his role in the upcoming movie, Battleship Island.
On the red carpet, he talked about his new look. He told celebrity gossip website Soompi: "I cut my hair because I'm currently filming a movie, but it feels awkward. I hope you can look at it favorably."
Adding on, Joong Ki is undergoing training for the role as well. Previously, celebrity fitness trainer Danny Joe took to his Instagram account to share an image with the Descendants of the Sun actor. He captioned the image: "I was fortunate enough to train the one of the biggest star in Asia, Song Joongki. I am a living proof that when you do good things for other, it will ALWAYS come back to you. Be KIND, work HARD and AMAZING things will happen."
Joong Ki shot to fame after starring in the hit drama as Captain Yoo Shi Jin. He was seen along Song Hye Kyo, who reprised the role of doctor named Kang Mo-Yeon.
