Selena Gomez praised former boyfriend Justin Bieber's performance at the One Love Manchester benefit concert on June 4 in Manchester, England. Ariana Grande organized a benefit concert for the Manchester bombing victims that raised over $13 million for the 22 people killed and over 100 injured.

Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan, Little Mix members Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, Oasis singer Liam Gallagher and more celebrities had joined for the cause.

The 24-year-old singer talked about the event during her appearance at SiriusXM radio on June 5 in New York City. She said: "It was beautiful. Every one did such a beautiful job. It was so gorgeous. I love how [Ariana Grande] ended it. I thought Justin did great. It was really beautiful."

She added: "That's what I hope everybody can take away...that we're not going to live in fear. That we refuse to."

The former Disney star and the Baby hitmaker who started dating in 2010, have had an on-and-off relationship until 2014. However, they have remained close despite the split.

Gomez had previously revealed that she is unhappy with the constant scrutiny about her relationship with Bieber. She told W magazine: "I'm so exhausted. I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can't do it anymore."

"To me it was: I'm 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that. Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things. I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn't know where to go," Gomez added.
