Korean remake of Taiwanese popular drama Scarlet Heart will hit the TV screens a bit earlier than its planned schedule. The series, which was planned to go air in September, will now be telecast from August.
Confirming the rescheduling news, the broadcasting channel of Scarlet Heart: Goryeo, stated that the forthcoming show will go live on August 29. SBS also affirmed that the period drama will take over the Monday-Tuesday slot, hence by replacing 'Doctors', which is being telecast these days.
As per the reports, Scarlet Heart: Goryeo, will be a fully pre-produced series similar to tvN's Cheese in the Trap and KBS's Descendants of the Sun. The show's shoot took place at snow-covered fields of the Gangwon province and is currently in its post production phase.
Earlier named as Moon lover, Scarlet Heart: Goryeo also boast of its starry cast and guest appearances. The drama is set feature stars like Lee Jun Ki, IU, Kang Ha Neul, Hong Jong Hyun, Nam Joo Hyuk, Baekhyun EXO, Ji Soo, and many more.
Meanwhile, talking about the plot, it is stated that the series has been inspired from a Chinese web novel and drama. It will be a period drama which is set in Korea's Goryeo Dynasty, but with a modern 21st century twist.
