K-pop girl group SISTAR's band member Hyorin will be making a guest appearance on 'Running Man.' There is a possibility that she will be paired with Kim Jong-kook as his potential love interest in the variety show from SBS.

Website Allkpop reported that on April 17, a representative from SBS channel said, "Currently, Hyorin is filming for 'Running Man' as a solo guest. She is making an appearance to be part of 3 vs. 3 vs. 3 global project." The particular episode will air on April 30.

As for the possibility of a future loveline between Kim Jong-kook and Hyorin, Korea Portal points to the recent April 16 episode. In the said episode, Lee Kwang Soo had mentioned how Kim Jong-kook prefers women who have thick thighs and tanned skin. Hearing this, Ji Suk-jin suggested that SISTAR's Hyorin would be Jong-kook's ideal choice based on his preferences. The 'Running Man' members did not stop teasing the handsome bachelor despite Jong-kook saying he doesn't have an ideal type.

Korea Portal also noted that there are instances when single female guests who joined 'Running Man' to help the permanent members complete their weekly challenges, were paired up with the show's male stars. Kim Jong-kook and Lee Kwang-soo were always teased regarding a potential loveline because they were the only single men.

Kim Jong-kook had an official loveline with actress Yoon Eun-hye while in SBS's game show 'X-Man.' He was also briefly paired with Song Ji-hyo on 'Running Man' following Gary's departure but no loveline formed between the two. The program directors of the variety show even arranged a blind date for the singer with Jung So-young, a Certified Public Accountant. She was so impressed with Jong-kook's hospitality and protectiveness, as well as him singing for her that she expressed interest in a second date.

It remains to be seen if 'Sparta' Kim Jong-kook will finally find his match in Hyorin.

The next episode of 'Running Man' will air on SBS on April 23, at 4:50 pm. KST.
