Rihanna was reportedly upset after reports emerged that Drake is dating Wimbledon champion Serena Williams. The Barbadian singer apparently had unsettled feelings for the Canadian rapper when the romance reports emerged.
Drake was Williams' biggest cheerleader throughout her US Open tournament appearance last year. Adding on, photos emerged of the two kissing during a romantic dinner date in Cincinnati on 23 August 2015 after weeks of speculation about their relationship.
A source told Hollywood Life: "Ri was hurt and a little jealous when he was showing up to Serena [Williams'] tennis matches, flossing her around town and whatnot," a source said.
The insider added: "She had feelings for him then but clearly he didn't. He's always throwing crazy parties at his house with butt naked women and Ri doesn't have time for that."
Meanwhile, during a press conference after Williams defeated rival Maria Sharapova in the semi-finals, she was quizzed about Drake's presence during the match. She said: "It's all about luck. You got to keep your luck around. We've been friends for like so many years, just like family. Kind of like we're on a streak right now. We got to do this."
