Police confirm children amongst the dead in Manchester attack

Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that children are amongst the fatalities of the terror attack at Manchester Arena on 22 May, and that the suspect is also believed to have died at the scene. Speaking to reporters outside police headquarters, Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said the investigation is fast-moving and has appealed to any members of the public to upload any photographs of moving footage taken at the scene, to a police website to assist the investigation. Fox hunting protester dragged along ground by police at Theresa May speech

The protester, who was only identified as Connor, shouted this is a fascist state as he was dragged away by officers in Wrexham on 22 May. May was in North Wales for the launch of the Welsh Conservatives manifesto. North Wales Police say the man was arrested for breaching the peace. May 22, 2017
