SM Entertainment's Red Velvet and JYP Entertainment's TWICE topped the monthly brand reputation rankings for Korean girl groups in September.
The results were based on the latest analysis of 70.15 million pieces of big data by the Korean Institute for Corporate Reputation, up from 7.52 percent from 65.24 percent in August. It was measured based on media, communication, community and participation indices.
Red Velvet scored 5.38 million to place first but it is down by 32.41 percent compared to their first-place score in August of 7.96 million. Their positive rate analysis in the latest rankings was 65.98 percent.
They came back with a new album in July titled "The Red Summer," which topped Billboard's World Albums chart and Gaon Chart.
Nine-member TWICE surged from third to second place with a score of 5.21 million, a decrease from 6.09 million they got in August.
New girl group Weki Meki is third with a score of 4.15 million, which increased from 3.51 million in August.
Fourth is Girls' Generation with 3.9 million, down from 7.42 million they received last month and placing fifth is Pristin with 3.69 million.
