Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is all set to develop a Star Trek movie with producer JJ Abrams for Paramount.
The Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained creator is primarily known for films which have a nonlinear storyline with a blend of satire, aesthetic violence, extended dialogues and soundtracks coming from the 80's and 90's.
As per reports, the Oscar-winning filmmaker has "a great idea" for the next installment of the sci-fi movie series. Tarantino has shared the idea with Abrams, who is busy at the moment preparing for Star Wars Episode IX, reports deadline.com.
Tarantino and Abrams are planning to build a writers' room. It has been revealed that if the script is approved by both parties then Tarantino might direct the much talked-about project and shall collaborate with Abrams who has been roped in to produce the movie.
