A bomb-detecting dog with bone cancer was given an official send-off before he was put down. Cena served with Corporal Jeff DeYoung in Afghanistan before he adopted the pooch after DeYoung was diagnosed with PTSD. After the dogs diagnose, DeYoung made a bucket list of activities to do before his death. Cena received a final salute watched by service members and the public. Thief arrested after getting stuck in traffic

A thief failed to escape after getting stuck in traffic in Birmingham. Martin Tolan was pursued by police after stealing a Mini convertible when he crashed into cars waiting at red lights. President Nicolás Maduro states this move will bring peace after months of violent protests. Critics say it will allow Maduro to dissolve the opposition-run Congress. A three-month-old polar bear cub got to explore her new enclosure at Sea World Australia. The Cub Kindy enclosure was built to expose the baby bear to new experiences. Russia orders embassy to cut staff, seizes two properties in retaliation against US sanctions

Russia is demanding the US to reduce its diplomatic staff inside Russia, and says it would seize 2 U.S. diplomatic properties. Pakistans prime minister Nawaz Sharif Resigns over Panama Papers Corruption Court Ruling

This is the third time Sharifs stint in office has been cut short. His government was dissolved in April 1993 by President Ghulam Ishaq Khan, however Sharif successfully challenged that decision to become prime minister again in May. He then resigned from the post in July, forcing the removal of President Khan as well.After re-election in 1997, he was then forced out by a military coup in 1999. He came back from exile to secure a major victory in the 2013 polls. This latest disqualification comes roughly a year before his term was to conclude, ending his chance of creating history by becoming the first Pakistani prime minister to complete a full five-year term in office.
