One of the most anticipated sequels of this year, Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales, is all set to open on May 26. The sequel brings back Johnny Depp, who returns as Captain Jack Sparrow. According to the plot that Disney released earlier, fans should expect a new villain, a new crew, and also a new ship.
With the new sequel come new problems. Apart from the fact that all the pirates are being hunted by Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), Captain Jack Sparrow will be commanding a new ship, a small and shabby ship named 'Dying Gull'. And he needs to find a mythical artefact that may save him but for that he needs to team up with the new people.
The Disney synopsis says: "The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the wind of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Debil's Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea – notably Jack. Jack's only survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon."
Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales stars Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth who is an amazing and beautiful astronomer, Benton Thwaites as Henry who is a young sailor from the Royal Navy and Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swan.
Other star cast of the upcoming movie, Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales include Kevin R. McNally, David Wenham, Golshitfteh Farahani, Stephen Graham and Geoffrey Rush.
Reportedly, the movie will feature nasty beasts with rotten flesh and the reports also claim that more than Jack Sparrow or Will Turner, the new characters will be having a strong influence on the story.
The teaser trailer for the sequel of the movie revealed Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar. According to the Movie News Guide reports, the new villain is reminiscent of the pirates from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
