Song Hye Kyo's agency has come forward to support Song Joong Ki amid the recent rumours surrounding him. The agency revealed the 30-year-old actor was not present with Park Yoochun when he allegedly raped a woman in a hotel's restroom.
UAA stated: "On the date June 3, mentioned in the rumor, Song Hye Kyo, Yoo Ah In, and Song Joong Ki were enjoying dinner together along with their managers. The rumor is not true."
Meanwhile, Blossom Entertainment, who represent Joong Ki And Park Bo Gum, said the allegations were baseless. The statement read: "There is no truth to the recent rumor and we will take legal action."
"We cannot remain as a spectator when TV programs talk about the rumor as though it were true and disclose real names. We will definitely request for an investigation regarding the first source of the rumor as well as pursue legal action against every instance of spreading the false rumor. We hope that no further damage will occur," the note stated.
The former member of TVXQ is under fire after five women came forward stating that he sexually assaulted them.
