"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actress Park Bo Young recently revealed about herself, her new nickname and the hardships she faced in the past and what made her almost leave acting.

The actress' success on the small screen started with tvN drama "Oh My Ghostess," and the said drama was quite successful and reached the viewership ratings of over 7%. Her recently ended drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" too was a huge hit; it broke JTBC's record for the drama with highest viewership ratings.

According to Soompi, the actress also earned a nickname of 'rom-com fairy' after the success of her two dramas. When the actress was asked how she felt about the new nickname she humbly responded saying, "I'm not sure if I deserve to be called the 'rom-com fairy' because I've only done two rom-com dramas so far."

The actress further added saying that she is, however, really grateful that people call her so. In fact, when she filmed 'Oh My Ghostess,' she was really worried about the viewers' reaction as she thought she was awkward for the role. She even mentioned that she felt that viewers would criticize for her looks. She thought her looks would distract the viewers and they would criticize saying that they cannot focus on the story because of her looks.

Bo Young added, "Now, I am happy with where I am and I don't think that way anymore, so I would consider that a success." She also mentioned that she had no idea that her works would be nearly as successful as they were.

During the interview, Bo Young also opened up about her hardships she faced saying, "The past me would never be able to imagine receiving this much love for my acting. I always faced obstacles in my career. I had a big lawsuit with my previous company so I was extremely worn out by that. I was upset at all the bad people in the world and no longer felt the joy in acting that I experienced when I first started out. This lead me to consider quitting this profession altogether. I considered quitting and moving back home to the countryside in Korea."

Even her parents agreed to her that she must live a normal life. However, when she thought of changing the career path she couldn't think of anything as all she always wanted to do is acting. After realizing it, she started acting again and that changed her attitude towards this profession.

Today, she wants to be an actress that people are curious about. She explained, "I want them wonder what kind of drama I will be working on next and look forward to the next character I will be portraying on screen. In the past, I always set definitive goals for myself, but I've stopped doing that. Now, I want to focus on putting all my effort into acting and loving myself. That is my goal for the future."
