Want to spend White day with a celebrity? Park Bo-gum and Lee Joon-gi could be your best dates, at least as per a survey anyway. Website Soompi notes that a survey was conducted by a company not named, from February 16 to March 9. 768 people participated in the survey to answer the question "Which star would you want to spend White Day with?" Park Bo-gum secured the top spot with 49 percent votes, while lee Joon-gi was a runner-up with only 10 per cent of votes.
White Day is Asia's own version of Valentine's Day. It is a romantic holiday that is celebrated in several Asian nations like Korea, Japan, Vietnam and others.
Park Bo-gum is extremely popular in South Korea and Asia in general. His bromance or rumoured romance with 'Descendants of the Sun' star Song Joong-ki is one of the hottest topics now, along with Song Hye-kyo, of course.
"Park Bo Gum is receiving a lot of support from fans thanks to his skilled acting, charming looks, and upright character. He rose to stardom with 'Reply 1988' and 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,' and recently he is showing his romantic side through appearances in commercials," the representative of the company in charge of the survey, said.
Park Bo-gum recently wrapped-up his Asia Tour in Seoul and expressed gratitude to the fans for their love and support of the actor, as noted by Soompi. "I worked hard to prepare for this time I get to share with my fans, and I'm sad because it feels like time is flying by. I will never forget where I came from, so that the love and support you've given me will never be in vain. I hope we can continue to respect and be considerate of each other," Park Bo-gum told his fans.
As for Lee Joon-gi, who recently starred in Hollywood production 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter,' the company representative said, "Lee Joon Gi is receiving lots of love not only from Asia, but also from North America and Europe for his character Wang So in 'Scarlet Heart: Goryeo.' His visuals are always on point, and his portrayal of a charismatic yet romantic emperor is what seems to have captured the hearts of many." Lee Joon gi will also be appearing in his first ever reality show, tvN's 'My Ear's Candy 2'.
