Park Bo Gum has expressed a desire to work with Song Joong Ki. The two actors, who are represented by the same agency, Blossom Entertainment, have done a Domino's Pizza commercial together.
During an episode of Entertainment Weekly, the Moonlight Drawn by Clouds star gushed about Song Hye Kyo's husband-to-be. He said: "If I were to have the opportunity to work with Joong Ki, playing brothers would be good, but anything would be great as long as it was with Joong Ki."
Meanwhile, Joong Ki also praised Bo Gum while he attended the 2016 Seoul Drama Awards. He said: "I knew 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds' would do well, but I didn't know that it would do this well. I'm sincerely thankful, and want to thank everyone for loving Bo Gum."
He added: "It would be great to play brothers some time, or even two guys that fight over the same girl. Regardless, I would like to work with [Park Bo Gum] in a project."
Previously, during an interview with Ilgan Sports, the 23-year-old actor revealed he looks up to the 31-year-old actor. He said: "Comparisons aside, I'm just very thankful that I'm able to receive such a great amount of love and support. And whenever I hear that [comparison between me and Song Joong Ki], I tend to motivate myself more. It also makes me think that I need to engage in acting and also in life more honestly and smartly."
Bo Gum continued: "I personally think that I was very lacking. If I can do it again, then I want to fix the parts that I lack and do better."
