Amid the developments in the jailbreak community recently, two tweak repositories have faded out of the scene. The ModMy repository, formerly known ModMy, has been archived while the ZodTTD/MacCiti repository has ceased operating.
Both the sad news came out in the month with MacCiti first tweeted the announcement on November 18 with only a brief message: "...was a great ride. Thank you." On Friday, November 24, ModMy also announced on Twitter the archival of the repository.

ModMy recommends the BigBoss repository to developers who are looking for a new home of their jailbreak tweaks. BigBoss is now the remaining major jailbreak tweaks repository.
The closure of ModMy and MacCiti shows being popular repos is practically not enough to survive the game. The jailbreak community has been through a lot in the last few months, somehow in the bottleneck. Despite that, general interest has not been waning as fans are still actively looking for developments.

Cydia creator Jay "Saurik" Freeman, on the other hand, had turned the table, predicting the death of jailbreak. Freeman told Motherboard in a previous interview: "What do you get in the end? It used to be that you got killer features that almost were the reason you owned the phone. And now you get a small minor modification."
"That turns into, like, a death spiral, where when you get fewer people bothering to jailbreak you get fewer developers targeting interesting things, which means there's less reasons for people to jailbreak. Which means there's fewer people jailbreaking, which causes there to be less developers bothering to target it. And then you slowly die."
