One of the most innovative fashion parade event, Met Gala, is back with its 2016 edition. The theme of this year's event was marked to appreciate technology and hi-tech inventions.
Entitled as Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, the annual event's red carpet was covered in metallics and silver.
Balmain was one such luxury brand which overpowered the red carpet this year. The brand's 2016 fall collection was inspired by monochromes, pearl encrust and metalics, and became one of the top choices among celebrities.
Meanwhile, the fashion curators and co-chairs, Idris Elba, Jonathan Ive, Taylor Swift, and Anna Wintour played the host to the annual fund raising event, formally called the Costume Institute Gala. Nicolas Ghesquière, Karl Lagerfeld, and Miuccia Prada served as honorary chairs, with the exhibition sponsored by Apple.
