Lorde has apologized for her words which she used, to describe her friendship with Taylor Swift. The 20-year-old made the statement in her recent interview with The Guardian, when she was asked about her bond with the Bad Blood hitmaker.
The Royals singer told the publication: "It's like having a friend with very specific allergies. There are certain places you can't go together. Certain things you can't do. There are these different sets of considerations within the friendship. It's like having a friend with an autoimmune disease."
The Kiwi singer received huge backlash from Swift fans for her comment. Twitter user, Stephanie Marie, wrote: "I wonder how @selenagomez feels about this. What an incredibly ignorant analogy to make @lorde"

Her whole family has been so supportive of me and yeah, she's been there during crucial points in my life and in my career."
She added: "[Taylor's] known for embracing her personal story and creating a beautiful thing out of it, and I was a little hesitant with that—and she was always the person to encourage me to tell my story and be proud of who I am."
