American actress Lindsay Lohan has responded to rumours that she is engaged to Russian real-estate mogul Egor Tarabasov. The 29-year-old actress denied reports that is engaged to be married to her 22-year-old boyfriend.
"The story is untrue and holds no merit," Lohan's spokesperson, Hunter Frederick told People.
Lohan and Tarabasov have been together for less than a year. Rumours that the two are engaged started after the Mean Girls star was spotted wearing a ring that looked like an engagement ring, at 2016 Asian Awards in London on 8 April.
Currently, the couple are in a live-in relationship, and share a home in London. Both of them moved in together recently after dating for about seven months.
During an interview with The Sun, Lohan opened up about her relationship with Tarabasov. She said: "I haven't known Egor for that long. We've been together for about seven months. He is a great guy. I met him in the summer. I'm really happy."
In March, Lohan posted a picture of a man, who resembled Tarabasov on her Instagram. She captioned the photo: "I love him."
