Lee Won Geun has opened up about his first impression of meeting Girls' Generation's Sooyoung. The duo will be seen together in upcoming web drama, People You May Know.
During the press conference, the 26-year-old recalled seeing the girl group member for the first time. He said: "I had to meet up with the director right before our table script reading, but Sooyoung was already there before me. Right when I walked into the room, I saw someone I grew up watching [on TV]."
"She was wearing jeans, and I got really nervous because she was so pretty. I couldn't even make eye contact with her. I just kept looking at the ground, and I didn't talk much. Because I have such a shy personality, I was worried about filming [the drama], but it actually turned out to be fun," he added.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old singer revealed how dating Jung Kyung Ho, helped her for the role. She said: "In the drama, the male and female leads have been dating for eight years. I've dated for more than five years, so I was able to act the part well."
"I thought my character was charming and the narrative was very was interesting. I read the script and really liked how the story was fresh and relatable to me," she added.
People You May Know will air its first episode through NaverTV on July 31 at 7 a.m. KST.
